Breakwater Storage

The Krueger Group is the owner/operator of Breakwater Storage, a climate-controlled storage facility located in the Gordon Square neighborhood of Cleveland.

Housed in a former manufacturing facility, we got to work bringing the building back to life, starting with renovating the entire 37,000+ square feet of the first floor.  The extensive scope of work involved the following:

• Complete replacement of existing roof.
• Complete replacement of existing windows on first and second floor, including new storefront systems on the first floor.
• Installation of full fire sprinkler system over entire first and second floor.
• Installation of handicap ramp access.
• Installation of elevator to service first and second floors of building.
• Upgrading of all garage doors.
• Painting of the exterior.

Completing these renovations gave us the confidence to deliver to the neighborhood a revitalized property and self-storage solution that our customers have come to expect, and, in the summer of 2021, Breakwater Storage opened its doors.  Features include:

• (74) units of varying sizes for every type of needs.
• Delivery bay.
• Handicap access ramp.
• Rentable conference room.
