To support its growing workforce, Hyland Software acquired the 75,000-square-foot former global headquarters of Nordson Corporation to house its product services and accounting teams.
The project was designed to seamlessly align with Nordson’s ongoing operations on the second floor while construction of their new facility was underway next door. The Krueger Group was retained to manage the project, which was completed in two distinct phases.
Phase 1 focused on transforming the basement and first floor into functional workspaces. This included the addition of an auxiliary cafeteria, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and ample office space with a variety of workstations. Additionally, 100 new parking spaces were created to accommodate the increased demand.
Phase 2 involved a comprehensive renovation of the building’s lobby, which was enhanced with a striking two-story monumental steel staircase. The second floor was expanded to include 150 workstations, 15 offices, 5 huddle rooms, and a vibrant cafĂ©. The basement was also transformed, with the addition of group training rooms, as well as audio/visual and recording studios.
The completed space now offers 300+ workstations, 20 offices, and 20 breakout rooms, providing an optimized and modern environment for Hyland Software’s dynamic team.
