Lakewood Shoreline Renovation

In order to alleviate the constant exposure to erosion on the shores of Lake Erie, the homeowners in Lakewood, Ohio looked to TKG to complete the installation of a Redi-Rock precast concrete wall system.  When complete, the 5-story wall consisted of 475+ blocks, 66 steps and 45 caps.

Design features that were incorporated into the wall system include the following:

• Stainless steel and tension cable railing system at stairs and decks.
• Synthetic turf putting green.
• Full precast paver stone patio with gas fire pit.
• Concrete pier with 22’ x 22’ x 27’ high boat garage and 1-1/2 Ton davit with power pivot.

Additionally, a 600+ square feet get away was built into the wall system with finish details including:

• Full kitchen and bathroom.
• Loft with wrought iron spindles and oak railing and balusters.
• Direct vent gas fireplace.
• Walk-out deck.
